Fundraising: Every Penny Counts!

Providing programs and support to our school is the fundamental goal of our PTSA, and fundraising is a key component of how we are able to do this.  Without this fundraising, Stillwater PTSA could not provide the enrichment programs and supplemental funding for programs for our children that cannot be paid for by the school district or that are not covered by state funding.

As you are probably aware, Stillwater PTSA holds an annual Fall Fundraiser and a Spring Walk-A-Thon. These are sales or donation collection based fundraising, but not all fundraising has to be about “writing a check”.

There are many things that we do in our everyday life that can earn money for our PTSA. Our kids eat cereal almost every day. Have you ever looked at the top of the box? Is there a Box Top for Education certificate?  Simply through the due diligence of cutting off and saving that Box Top, we are now 10 cents closer to reaching our goals.  We have over 350 families at Stillwater.  If each family were to cut off one Box Top each week, we would collect $35 a week from only one Box Top saved.  Now imagine how much money PTSA could earn with every Box Top you find!!!!!!

Here you'll find a list of small things that can help support Stillwater PTSA and the programs we fund throughout the year.  Please look over them and see how you can contribute without “writing a check”.  Ask your family members and friends to save those Box Tops or Campbell soup UPC’s, to register their shopping cards and even to save those empty ink cartridges or cell phones.

If you have any questions about fundraising at Stillwater, please contact Marsha Staley at marshastaley@hotmail.com or at (425) 788-7556/(425) 577-0908.
