Special General Meeting Minutes September 6, 2013
9:30 Welcome & Introductions
- Pam called the meeting to order.
- Pam started with introductions – name, and position.
- The purpose of this meeting to update and approve the budget for the 2013-2014 school year. A budget committee has met over the summer to make the relevant changes.
9:35 Budget Review
Comments, questions and concerns were asked of the floor
- Entertainment books – estimated total sales appeared high – need to check with Marsha for more appropriate numbers; reduced to $6000 for sales;
- Timing of the Walk-a-thon is tentatively planned for October 3rd
- What is the process for changing line items –
1st Motion
Gayle Saunders moved to accept the new revised 2013-2014 budget with the changes to the entertainment book line item.
Julie Logan seconded the motion.
Pam asked for discussion. Seeing no discussion, the vote was called.
The motion was voted on and passed.
Pam closed the meeting.
