End of the Year Message from your PTSA Presidents
We can’t believe that the year is almost over! First of all we would sincerely like to thank you all for allowing us to be your Presidents this year. Our goal was to build our volunteer base, bring people in and make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. No amount of time you donated this year went unnoticed. We acknowledge all the efforts that were given to help enrich all our children’s education!
May was a crazy busy month. The Staff Appreciation week was amazing as usual. We hope you had a chance to go into the school or see the pictures of Alice In Wonderland all throughout the school. THANK YOU Red Pepper Pizza, Cakes by Yessi, and BaeBae Cakes for meal donations as well as all the wonderful parents who donated food, snacks and supplies for Staff Appreciation week!
The Hawk Walk this year raised $11,010.68! So exciting!! Thank you to The Irwin Group for sponsoring the Money Machine and Teacher Laps. Thank you to Red Pepper Pizza, Rojo’s, and Valley Foursquare Church for also sponsoring the teacher laps. We made $1,203 from those amazing donations!
We cleaned the Garden Center! Shout out to all the help and Marilyn’s Recycle for taking away the yard waste! AND we had our Volunteer party! Thank you Match for hosting us! It feels so good to see new and familiar faces and get a chance to thank you all in person!
June is already here, so we are wrapping things up to welcome in our new full board!
We would like to thank our wonderful current board: Lloyd McCracken, Lynda Brown, Lindsey Tolson, Noel Caryl, Jessica Coon, Ruby Childs, Sarah McKenzie and Tami Wilkes for all your work and support. I (Serene) personally want to thank Julie and Ruby for all your years of service to PTSA. We will miss you when you leave. AND I (Julie) would like to say that my boys and I have had a fantastic experience here at SWE. Riley, Spencer and I have learned a lot and made many friends. I will miss the camaraderie of all the parents though the PTSA working to create a stronger more well rounded experience for our children. We hope we served you and the school well. We are very proud of what this years’ team accomplished for our Stillwater Hawks!
