HAPPY NEW YEAR! What a start to a year!
Hello Stillwater families! Your Stillwater PTSA has been busy getting things going at the school. We’ve had a lot of changes, one major thing being full-time school for students and the other, PTSA members on campus again which is great! This is allowing us to get back into doing some of the amazing things we love to do! We started 2021 working with the school remotely but came October we were back at trying to make all the fun things happen. We love spoiling our staff with Staff Luncheons, Conference Night Dinners, and monthly SAS cart treats! We also got to have our First Fundraiser in nearly a year and a half. With some modifications with Covid protocol, we got to do the Hop A Thon back into it in November. This is our largest fundraiser of the year! The kids got to jump and play with Mr. H during their specialist time and help raise money for the school. We ended up raising over $28,000! WHOOHOO HAWKS!
January, we’ll also be starting back up our Popcorn Thursday! Where every second Thursday we’ll be having our PTSA hand out Popcorn to classrooms to enjoy outside during snack time. This has always been a student favorite and due to COVID, we have not been able to do this for almost two years so our volunteers are excited to get back on campus and make this happen for the students! Below are a few notes on what we have done since the start of school and hopefully, what to expect in the coming weeks. GO HAWKS!
