March 2017 Featured Volunteers of the Month: Shelly Campbell and Stacy Reddy
Congratulations to our March PTSA Featured Volunteers of the Month, Shelly Campbell and Stacy Reddy. They were nominated by Lindsey Tolson and voted on by the Executive Board.
Here are a few things that Lindsey had to say about them:
“Shelly and Stacy have been our Rock-Star social chairs this year. They have worked tirelessly all year long to provide fun social events nearly every month of school. In 2015-2016 we had 3 social events and in 2016-2017 we have already had 5 social events and have 2 more planned before the year is done. In March, they planned Stillwater’s 3rd Annual All School Dance which was so much fun! Our social events are the largest events we do at Stillwater, they require A LOT of planning and these two, along with Jenn Anderson, our Vice President of Events make it look easy. One thing we always hear from the community is how much they appreciate all the events we do. We couldn’t do all those events without leaders in our group like Shelly and Stacy. These ladies arrive early before every event to set-up and stay well after they end to clean-up and they miss out on enjoying the event with their own kids so that everyone else can. Thank you, Shelly and Stacy for working hard all year to plan amazing events for Stillwater, we all appreciate it!”
Shelly has been at Stillwater volunteering for 2 years now. She and her husband Brandon have 2 children, Allie is in 3rd grade and Brad is in 6th grade at Tolt Middle School. She enjoys helping in the classrooms and being an art docent but her favorite thing to volunteer for is, “all the fun events that bring the community together!” Everyone that knows Shelly knows her favorite thing to do is ZUMBA! She also spends time volunteering free Zumba classes for various events as well leading a group of 6th grade girls at her church. When she isn’t volunteering, she likes to spend time with her family going on bike rides, hiking, playing board games and watching movies together. When asked if there was anything else she wanted to share, Shelly replied “I love Stillwater and am proud to be a part of this awesome community. It is an honor to be nominated for volunteer of the month and I want to thank ALL the volunteers that make our school SO great for our kids! It truly takes a village and I love this village.”
Stacy and her husband Patrick have 3 children, Kailey is 20 and studying at the University of Washington, Patrick is 12 and is at Tolt Middle School and Ciara is 9 and is in 4th grade at Stillwater. Stacy has been volunteering at Stillwater for almost 2 years and says that “she loves being part of the Social Team with her partners in crime, Shelly Campbell and Jenn Anderson. We have a lot of fun planning bingo and all the dances!” She also volunteers on the Tolt PTSA Board as F.A.C.E. chair, works in the Tolt student store and is a board member with the Community Builder Youth Programs in Cle Elum. When she isn’t volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family at their beach house in Long Beach, WA and is currently fixing up an old house in Cle Elum. Stacy’s family loves to road trip and she also enjoys crafting and loves to bake!
Thank you, Stacy and Shelly for all the things you have done for Stillwater and the PTSA!
