Stillwater Experiences Silent Auction Sneak Peek!
We are excited to announce that Stillwater Experiences Silent Auction presented at Valentine’s Bingo is back for it’s second year! There are some AMAZING packages that staff and PTSA members have donated.
Valentine’s Bingo is on Friday, February 9th from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Don’t forget to preorder your pizza meals and bake sale tickets by February 6th! The silent auction experiences will be on display starting at 5:30 pm. The auction will end 10 minutes after Bingo ends and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter. If you cannot attend Valentine’s Bingo but want to bid on any of these experiences, we do have an absent bidding form available – please email Monique Linz at fundraising@stillwaterptsa.org if you are interested.
Here is a list of the experiences with short descriptions. Check back next week for the full descriptions and minimum bids.
“Capture the Flag Nerf Tag Party with the Principal”: Mr. Madigan has a fun party planned for a lucky student with the winning bid and up to 11 friends. For 1.5 hours students will be broken up into 2 teams and play capture the flag throughout the school utilizing nerf toys to tag the other team. Parent supervision required, 30 minute snack/cake/present time also included.
“P.E. Teacher for a Day”: Mr. Hammons is excited to have a student* team up with him to be P.E. teacher for the day! What kid wouldn’t love this? *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.
“Music Teacher for a Day”: Mrs. Christensen is excited to have a student* team up with her to be music teacher for the day! What music loving kid wouldn’t want this? *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.
“Librarian for a Day”: Does your student love reading and books! Mrs. Harvold is excited to have a student* team up with her to be librarian for the day! *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.
“Art Project Party with Ms. Anderson & Ms. Liljegren”: 1 student and 6 friends will be invited to an art project party after school in Ms. Anderson’s class for 1.5 hours. Light snacks provided.
“Art with Mrs. Olson”: Two-Dimensional art lesson!
“Baking with Mrs. Olson”: Mrs. Olson will be teaching students to bake a yummy treat from scratch!
“Chess Basics with Dr. F.”: Dr. F will teach a student how to play chess.
“Baking with Mrs. Craig”: Learn how to make some tasty baked goods with Mrs. Craig! Yum!
“Sewing and Tea with Mrs. Heinson”: Have an American Girl doll? Mrs. Heinson will help you sew an apron for your doll and have a tea luncheon! 3rd Grade and up please.
“Piano Lessons by Mrs. Christensen”: Three – 20 minute piano lessons. 3rd Grade and up please.
“Cinco De Mayo Party at the Smiths”: The first 10 adults to sign up will get to bring a friend to a Cinco De Mayo Party at Mrs. Smith’s house on May 5th from 5-10 pm. Adults only. Cost to sign up is $25.
“Evening out” (4 families): Our kindergarten teachers are offering their babysitting services on February 28th for all the kids in each family with the winning bid giving the parents an evening out!
“Family Photo Shoot with Ms. Hintzke”: Need updated family pictures? Mrs. Hintzke (previously Ms. Arnold) has you covered! An outdoor family photo experience for up to 10 family members!
“Lunch Pizza Party with 1st Grade Teachers”: The first 15 students to sign up will get to attend a pizza party during their lunch recess and lunch with the 1st Grade team. There will be pizza, treats and games! Cost to sign up is $10. Grades K-3rd please.
“Private Pottery Paint Night Party”: Throw your own pottery paint night at Stillwater on a weeknight with 20 people total. Parent supervision required, 2 hour limit.
“Gym Party Package”: Would you like to use the school gym for two hours on a weeknight for a party or get together? We’ve got you covered! Parent supervision required, up to 20 students. We will have multiple packages available for bid, one of which will also include 24 cupcakes from Bae Bae Cakes.
“Create Your Own Clay Project”: 1 student and 2 friends will get a private clay lesson with our very talented Arts Education Chair, Ulrike Staerk. They will get to create their own clay piece that will be fired in Stillwater’s kiln. 1st Grade and up please.
“Weekend in Long Beach”: Want a family get a away? Look no more, we have the perfect place for you! Long Beach Vacation Rentals has a cabin perfectly located by town and the beach for a wonderful 2-night get away.
“Housecleaning and Whole House Carpet Cleaning”: 3 hours of housecleaning donated by a professional housecleaner and PTSA Member, Michelle Berens. Plus Green Planet Carpet Cleaning is donating a whole house carpet cleaning up to $300. Must live in zip codes 98014 or 98019.
“Karate Lessons”: 1 hour karate lesson, once a week for 3 months at Duvall Karate. To be used in 3 consecutive months and only 1 child in the household.
“Monthly Flower Bouquet”: Monthly flower bouquet during May – October from Dig-It Flower Farm. You pick-up, located off Big Rock Road.
