Talent Show Auditions, Jan 8 & 9
Can you tell a joke, play an instrument, juggle, dance, or perform an original skit?
If so, have you heard? The Stillwater Elementary Talent Show is coming! It’s time to start thinking about your act to show all your friends your awesome talent.
Auditions are January 8 and 9. DOWNLOAD TALENT SHOW PERMISSION FORM. Please come prepared to auditions with music, written lyrics, and props if need.
The big shows are on January 23!
SCHEDULE:
Auditions will be held January 8 and 9 after school on the stage. There will be a sign-up sheet in the school office and you must sign-up for an audition time. You will bring your permission slip and a parent/guardian to your audition.
Dress Rehearsal will be January 22 in the gym right after school. You must attend dress rehearsal to participate in the talent show.
Talent Shows are January 23 at 2pm and January 23 at 6:30pm.
Rules and Guidelines:
- All performers must complete a permission slip in order to audition and participate in the show. Additional permission slips are available in the office and on the Stillwater PTSA website.
- Acts must be no longer than 90 seconds. Some acts may need to be further shortened.
- If you are in a group act of five or more, you may also do ONE solo act.
- All performers should come to their auditions prepared with music, props, costumes, etc.
- If you are using music in your performance, you must provide your clean/edited song burned onto a separate CD for our tech crew. Please label with your name and song. CD’s will only be returned upon request. Keep a copy at home to practice.
- Lip syncing is not permitted. You must provide a karaoke version of your song.
- NO inappropriate music, lyrics, dance moves or language will be permitted
