PTSA Advocacy Update
With the 2018 election over, it’s a good time to update and review lawmakers who represent residents living within Stillwater Elementary School boundaries, and thus influence education policies and funding for our school. Stillwater draws students from the city of Duvall as well as unincorporated Carnation and Duvall, which comprise the fifth and forty-fifth Washington legislative districts and congressional district one.
(If you would like to look up your specific district, use the Washington State Legislature District Finder https://app.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/ .)
Your lawmakers want to hear from you! Contacting them to express your support for quality education lets them know that it is an important issue to voters in their district. See the websites below for more information on where these lawmakers stand on education and for contact information (including easy web contact forms).
