Stillwater Experiences Silent Auction
The PTSA’s Stillwater Experiences Silent Auction presented at Valentine’s Bingo is back for it’s second year! There are some AMAZING packages that staff and PTSA members have donated. We gave you a sneak peek last week but now we have the full descriptions ready!
Valentine’s Bingo is on Friday, February 9th from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. Don’t forget to preorder your pizza meals and bake sale tickets by February 6th! The silent auction experiences will be on display starting at 5:30 pm. The auction will end 10 minutes after Bingo ends and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter. If you cannot attend Valentine’s Bingo but want to bid on any of these experiences, we do have an absent bidding form available – please email Monique Linz at fundraising@stillwaterptsa.org if you are interested.
Capture the Flag Nerf Tag Party with the Principal
Does your student love Nerf toys and Capture the Flag? Then this is the experience for you! 1 student with the winning bid plus 11 friends will get to have a Capture the Flag Nerf Tag Party at Stillwater with Mr. Madigan. The students will bring their own Nerf toys and be broken up into two teams. They will covertly move through the school trying to steal the other team’s flag, if they are tagged with a Nerf toy then they are sent to a penalty area. Day and time of party will be coordinated with gym availability and Mr. Madigan’s schedule, a weekend date could be considered. The party will last 2 hours and will consist of 1.5 hours of play time and 0.5 hours of food/snacks time (bring your own food/snacks). This is not a drop off event, at least 1 parent will need to be present during the party.

P.E. Teacher for a Day – 2 experiences available for bidding
Mr. Hammons is excited to have a student* team up with him to be P.E. teacher for the day! What kid wouldn’t love this? They will be choosing activities for the rest of the classes and taking the reins from Mr. Hammons. This is an experience every child would love! *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.

Music Teacher for a Day
Mrs. Christensen is excited to have a student* team up with her to be Music teacher for the day! What music loving kid wouldn’t love this? They will be choosing activities for the rest of the classes and taking the reins from Mrs. Christensen. This is an experience every child would love! *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.

Librarian for a Day
Mrs. Harvold is excited to have a student* team up with her to be the very important Librarian for the day! Do you have a kiddo who loves BOOKS? They’re going to love this experience. They will be choosing activities for the rest of the classes and taking the reins from Mrs. Harvold. This is an experience every child would love! *If there are multiple students in a family, they will share the experience.

Art Project Party with Ms. Anderson & Ms. Liljegren
Does your student enjoy art projects, then this is the package for you! 1 student and 6 friends will be invited to an Art Project Party with Ms. Anderson and Ms. Liljegren. The kids will go to Ms. Anderson’s class right after school for 1.5 hours of art project fun. Light snacks will be provided.

Art with Mrs. Olson
One Student plus one friend will get to have a two-dimensional art experience at school with Mrs. Olson. This event will be two hours long and take place after school and as convenient for parents and all concerned and will take place in her classroom.

Baking with Mrs. Olson
Would you like to learn how to bake cookies from scratch or maybe even brownies? Mrs. Olson will be teaching one student plus one friend how to whip up some treats from scratch. This will take place on a Saturday Afternoon at Mrs. Olson’s home in Kirkland. This Experience will be around two hours long.

Chess Basics with Dr. F.
Are you interested in learning Chess? Well, Dr. F is here to teach one lucky student how to play the basic game of chess and then they can teach their parents! This experience will take about four or five, 30 minute sessions in the morning before school, so planning would have to be worked out with the teacher.

Baking with Mrs. Craig
Does your kiddo love to bake? Mrs. Craig would love to teach one kid PLUS one friend how to make 3 of their favorite desserts! She’ll meet with the family to schedule this event for one student plus a friend. This Experience will take place at Mrs. Craig’s house or at School and will take about three hours.

Sewing and Tea with Mrs. Heinson
Do you have an American Girl Doll? Mrs. Heinson will teach one lucky student plus one friend (total of 2 kids) how to sew their very own apron for their doll! This will take place on a Saturday at Mrs. Heinson’s house. Mrs. Heinson will also treat them to a tea party luncheon. Special Note: 3rd Grade and up only please.

Piano Lessons from Mrs. Christensen
Mrs. Christensen is offering one lucky student 3rd grade and above three, 20-minute piano lessons. These Lessons will take place right after school with one lesson a week for three weeks. Mrs. Christensen will provide the music book for your kid that they will be able to keep continuing to learn.

Cinco de Mayo Party at the Smiths
Who doesn’t love a good Cinco de Mayo Party!!! Mrs. Smith is having a Cinco de Mayo party at her house near Lake Joy on Saturday, May 3rd from 5-10 pm and is inviting the first 10 adults who sign up and pay $25 to come join the fun. Each adult that signs up can bring a plus 1 to the party, but adults only please. Mrs. Smith will be providing chips, salsa, guacamole, enchiladas and margaritas, you can bring your own side dish to share!

Evening Out – 4 experiences available for bidding
Looking for a night out without the kids? The Kindergarten teachers are here to help! They’ll provide 2 hours of child care at Stillwater (for all children in the family – not just kindergartners). While the kids are at Stillwater, they would have a movie, snacks, art, and games.
***Date is preselected for February 28th from 5:30-7:30 and will not be changed. Please make sure this date works for you.***

Family Photo Shoot
Are you in need of updated Family Photos? Mrs. Hintzke (previously Ms. Arnold) is offering a 40-minute photo session for a family no larger than 10. This will be held at Tolt McDonald Park on a Saturday or Sunday in April unless there are weather concerns. Digital photos provided.

Lunch Pizza Party with the 1st Grade Teachers
Would you like to have a Pizza Party at school with the First Grade Teachers? First 15 students to sign up will get to take their recess/lunch break (40 mins) to hang out with the 1st grade teachers and enjoy pizza, treats and games!
***Special Note: K-3rd grade students only to better accommodate the lunch period of the 1st Grade Team***

Pottery Paint Night – 2 experiences available for bidding
Stillwater PTSA is offering a Private Pottery Paint Night Party for 20 people! Each person will get to pick 1 pottery piece from a variety of options and get to paint the night away in the art portable, portable D! Food is allowed for the party. We will work with the winner to schedule the party for a weeknight during the school year, there will be a 2 hour limit. Pottery pieces will be fired in the Stillwater Kiln after the party and pick-up will be coordinated with the winner. This would NOT be a drop-off experience, parent supervision is required.

Gym Party Package PLUS 2 Dozen Cupcakes by Bae Bae Cakes
Would you like to use the school gym for two hours on a weeknight during the school year for a party or get together? We’ve got you covered! You can use the hoops to have a basketball party or even have a dry space to play dodgeball! Lots of possibilities. Lunch tables can be used for snacks/presents if needed, other equipment needs can be discussed during scheduling. In addition, Bae Bae Cakes will donate 24 cupcakes for the event! This would NOT be a drop-off experience, parent supervision is required, up to 20 students allowed. Scheduling the date and time of the party will occur with Karie Cato at the Stillwater front office, and will need to be booked on a weeknight when the gym is free*. Also, please note that a PTSA Representative will need to be on site during the party for insurance purposes.
*From April until the end of the school year, the gym schedule is more open as basketball has ended. The party could also be scheduled in the fall before basketball begins. Scheduling of the party, even if it’s for the fall, will need to occur by the end of February to ensure it gets on the calendar.

Create Your Own Clay Project
Our very talented Arts Education Chair, Ulrike Staerk, will provide a personal clay project lesson for 1 student plus 2 of their friends. The kids will have fun creating their own art piece out of clay that will get fired in Stillwater’s kiln. The lesson forming the clay piece will be right after school and take approximately 1.5 hrs and a shorter follow-up lesson to glaze the piece will take approximately 45 minutes. ***Special Note: 1st Grade and Up Only Please***

Housecleaning and Whole House Carpet Cleaning
Would you love your house cleaned by a professional housekeeper? Fellow Stillwater parent and PTSA board member, Michelle Berens is offering three hours of house cleaning and Green Planet Carpet Cleaning will offer a whole house carpet cleaning up $300!
***You will be responsible for scheduling both cleanings and they can be used same day or on separate days. The 3 hours of house cleaning will need to be used in one visit as well as the whole carpet cleaning, this is for local areas of 98019 & 98014***
